Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a unique form of “psychological acupuncture” that uses the ancient Chinese meridian system to relieve psychological stress and physiological pain. EFT balances the energy system with a tapping procedure which stimulates designated meridian endpoints on the face and body. Restoring the balance of the energy system neutralizes emotional conflicts at their source, which then allows the body and mind to resume their natural healing abilities. EFT is safe, easy to apply, and is non-invasive.

Designed by Gary Craig, a personal performance coach in California, EFT belongs to a new class of treatments referred to as Energy Psychology. Gary has dedicated his work and life to teaching people how to overcome emotional and physical blocks to success and has been emotionally, spiritually and financially generous with his discoveries. EFT is one of the most effective, efficient, gentle treatment techniques I have come across.

Gary neatly summarized in a recent article on his web site, all scientists agree that the body is an "energy configuration" made up of positive and negative electrical charges in the form of atoms, the basic "building blocks of all matter." Einstein informed modern scientists that all matter lies somewhere on the same energy continuum. This was captured in his famous Theory of Relativity which states E=MC². If we view the human body as an energy configuration rather than separate organs, parts and equations of chemicals, we will understand why and how EFT works. Andrea is a level 2 EFT Practitioner available via phone or in person to assist you in addressing fears, phobias, issues of weight loss, anger, grief, addictions, and releasing blocks to manifesting abundance. Many clients have already benefited greatly from EFT.

"I want to share with you how I came to Reiki, or how it found me! As a young child I had a repetitive dream. In the dream there was a symbol, a vibration, a sound and obviously very powerful energy. As a young child I didn't have words to describe all of what I experienced in the dream. As I grew older, I started to search for meaning so to speak. That searching included experiencing different religions and esoteric trainings such as crystal healing, energy healing, etc. After receiving my MBA from Union College in 1994, I devoted my energies to spiritual studies which at the time included Spiritual Counseling. My girlfriend at the time had taken Reiki and needed a �model� to practice on. So I agreed to receive Reiki, not really knowing what I was in for! How life changing it would be! After that session her Reiki Master asked me for a deposit for his Reiki class. I did not pursue Reiki, it pursued me! I had planned on moving to the Southwest but the Universe had other plans for me. It was a Friday night and I found myself unexpectedly in Reiki class, wishing I were moving to the Southwest until the Reiki teacher showed us the first Reiki symbol! As soon as I saw that symbol the hair on my body stood up and I KNEW without any doubt that this is what I was meant to do. The first symbol of Reiki, was the very same symbol in my repetitive dream so many years before. Before this experience, I always knew that I would �teach� something I just didn't know what. In that moment everything became clear. Needless to say, Reiki changed my life and continues to do so. Reiki is very powerful, yet very subtle.
